The four portraits were taken after Prince Louis’ christening in The Chapel Royal at St James’ Palace this past Monday, July 9.

This marks the first time the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were photographed together with their three children as a family of five.

“Everyone was so relaxed and in such good spirits, it was an absolute pleasure”, celebrity photographer Matt Holyoak said. The photographs were taken in the morning room and garden of Clarence House, at the royal residence in Westminster, London.

Louis was asleep as he was taken into the chapel for the 40-minute ceremony. According to BBC, the Duchess described him as “very relaxed and peaceful”. “I hope he stays like this”, she teased to the Archbishop of Canterbury, the Most Reverend Justin Welby.

Also photographed were the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan, the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall, as well as the Middleton family, including Kate’s sister Pippa and her brother James.
