Aradippou factory worker falls to his death

A 58-year-old fell while hoisted some four meters high while attempting to collect goods from higher shelves in the factory storage area

A 58-year-old Aradippou factory worker fell to his death on Monday after he was hoisted some four meters high by a forklift in order to collect good from higher shelves.

According to the police, the accident occurred at around noon, with the 58-year-old being transferred via ambulance to the Larnaca general hospital, where a doctor pronounced him dead on arrival.

Members of the police rushed to the scene, along with officials of the labour inspection office, to look in to the causes of the fatal accident.
