A 36-year-old British male was found dead in his home in Larnaca on Thursday, after colleagues who had been looking for him failed to get a response.

According to reports, the man had not been seen since Monday, prompting his colleagues to go search for him in his home where he was found unconscious on the floor Thursday afternoon.

Police who rushed to the scene initially ruled out foul play, while reports noted that the man had some scratches and bruises on his body. The interior of the residence also appeared to be in disarray, with sources also saying cops located 3.5 grams of cocaine.

A post mortem later is expected to reveal the exact cause of death.

Police are investigating the case.
