A British woman is in police custody in the north, following accusations that she used her own children to make money illegally through online pornography.
According to Turkish Cypriot press, a 44-year-old mother was doing strip shows online and also promising more action involving her children if she would get paid by online pedophiles.
“There would be more to come if she was sent money,” according to an anonymous tip from an online user in the United Kingdom.
According to the complaint, the woman offered live streaming videos of a sexual nature in which she abused her 4-year-old son and 16-month-old daughter.
Turkish Cypriot police raided the suspect’s home in Kyrenia on Thursday and arrested the woman, who confessed the crimes according to the media reports.
The woman said she sold sex videos of herself to make money, including exclusive content of child porn videos depicting her own children in sexual acts from March to June.
The suspect was reportedly an undocumented resident since 2015.
