Today marks a milestone for Cyprus Airways as the airline proudly announces the commencement of flights between Larnaca and the vibrant city of Brussels twice a week.
The new route represents a significant step in fulfilling Cyprus Airways' mission to connect Cyprus with key international destinations.
According to Mr. Tasos Michael, Executive President and CEO of Cyprus Airways, "The introduction of the Brussels flight is not just a link between two beautiful destinations; it's a connection that was missing between Cyprus, a European Union member state, and the EU capital.
The route is served by Cyprus Airways' new A220-300 aircraft featuring the most impressive business class in the European medium-haul market. The rear of our cabin is also more spacious than many of our competitors', making it one of the most environmentally friendly aircraft in the market."
In a brief speech at Brussels Airport today, Mr. Christos Limnatitis, Commercial Director of Cyprus Airways, stated, "We are excited about the opportunities this new route offers in business, politics, culture, and tourism. I want to express my gratitude to our dedicated team who made this route a reality, the Brussels Airport team who supported us enthusiastically, and above all, our esteemed passengers, for their preference and support for our company."
Addressing passengers who traveled on the inaugural flight from Brussels to Cyprus, Mr. Limnatitis said, "Soon we will welcome the first passengers of the flight from Brussels to Larnaca. We are delighted to have you with us on this journey to the Mediterranean. We promise you a wonderful travel experience that not only concerns your arrival at your destination but also an enjoyable flight to Cyprus aboard our new Airbus A220-300, the most modern and environmentally friendly medium-haul aircraft soaring in the skies today."
