According to some reports, the body of a young man from Ireland was discovered around 4m in a groundfloor car park of a hotel in the resort town. He was initially described as an unidentified male.

Upon the discovery, police were notified and rushed to the scene where officers cordoned off the area. A forensic pathologist was also called to the area.

State radio said the man might have fallen to his death from the second floor.

Investigators initially did not rule out any scenario but later said they did not suspect foul play. Reports said labour department officials also joined police at the scene.
