Latest sighting of Stelios Georgiou was Monday in Yermasogia, search still ongoing

A vehicle belonging to a man gone missing over the weekend was spotted on Monday parked near a gas station in Limassol, with almost no signs yet as to the whereabouts of its owner.

Stelios Georgiou, aged 36, was last seen on Saturday afternoon according to the latest reports. His car, a black Opel Tigra, was found locked on Monday late afternoon in Moni area, on the old Nicosia-Limassol road near a gas station.

Media picked up Monday on additional searches which have been expanded to include Mouttagiakka, about 12 kilometres west of Moni along Limassol’s coastline. Georgiou was last seen on Monday, according to unconfirmed reports on his latest sighting, walking on foot in Yermasogia. His credit card was also reportedly used at a convenience store while the gas tank in his car was described as ‘empty’.

Georgiou is about 1.70m tall, average build, with dark brown hair and eyes. Additional features include a birth mark in the left eye and a scar on one of his ankles caused by a surgery in the past. His car registration plates are KKP919.
