The condition of a minibus driver remained unknown following an accident in Nicosia on Sunday, with reports saying the vehicle ended up falling into a historic moat downtown.
Local media said a female driver was rushed to the Emergency Room at Nicosia General Hospital after her minibus fell into the Constanza Moat near the Ohi roundabout on Sunday evening around 8pm.
It was understood there were no passengers in the vehicle at the time of the incident, which took place under circumstances still pending an investigation.
No update on the driver’s condition was available on Monday but police told Knews the woman was immediately after the accident was said to have sustained minor injuries.
