Weather shifts from cloudy to clear with a touch of frost

Mild breezes and gradual clearing on the horizon

Newsroom

In the latest forecast, a weak high-pressure system is influencing the region, bringing about a mix of weather conditions. Today, expect predominantly cloudy skies, with winds shifting from northeast to southeast and eventually west to northwest.

The wind intensity will be light to moderate, ranging from 3 to 4 Beaufort, making the sea slightly rough.

Temperature-wise, anticipate highs around 21 degrees in both the interior and coastal areas, while higher mountain regions will experience cooler temperatures at around 12 degrees.

As night falls, the weather will gradually transition to mostly clear, with occasional low clouds lingering. Winds will shift to north-westerly to north-easterly at a light intensity of 3 Beaufort, leading to a calm to slightly choppy sea.

Overnight temperatures will drop to 8 degrees inland, around 10 degrees in the south and east coast, approximately 12 degrees in the west and north coast, and as low as 4 degrees in the higher mountains, where localized frost may form.

Looking ahead to Friday and Saturday, expect predominantly clear weather, providing a welcome break from the varied conditions earlier in the week.

By Sunday, intermittent high clouds will make an appearance, adding an interesting twist to the forecast. Additionally, temperatures are projected to gradually rise, surpassing the average for this time of year. Stay tuned for updates as we track these evolving weather patterns.
