The Russian World Foundation honored Lawyer Andreas Neocleous at a ceremony at the Russian House in Limassol. The event marked the 5th anniversary since the establishment of the Russian House, which is located on Riga Fereou Street.
In his speech Mr. Nikolay Sergeichev, representing the Russian World Foundation, praised the multifaceted work of Mr. Neocleous and thanked him for his contributions towards enhancing cooperation between Cyprus and Russia.

Roman Vavilov, President of the Russian House in Cyprus said that the goal set to reach two and a half thousand visits at the Russian House has been achieved. Mr. Vavilov, in his remarks, thanked Andreas Neocleous for his patronage and support.
''Andreas Neocleous has been and remains a friend of Russia and has contributed to the development of friendly relations between our countries. He wrote a series of articles published in the Russian press in support of deoffshorization, calling it legal, ethical and proper, and President Putin's requirement regarding transparency and disclosure of tax information fair and reasonable'', said Vavilov.
Praising Neocleous for his charitable contributions Vavilov said that Mr. Neocleous provided rent-free premises for the Russian House in Limassol and donated 100 000 euros for the construction of a Russian Orthodox Church in Limassol.
Vavilov thanked Mr. Neocleous for supporting the Russian Russian House and wished him and the company Elias Neocleous LLC success and prosperity mentioning that the firm has entered into the list of 100 best firms in Europe.
Limassol Mayor Nicos Nicolaides noted that the contributions of Russians living in Cyprus are not solely economic in nature, referring to the importance of social and cultural ties.
On behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Marios Ieronymides referred to the importance of relations between Cyprus and Russia.
In his remarks, Andreas Neocleous thanked the Russian World Foundation and all those who congratulated him on the award. "I have always loved and continue to love Russia and the Russian people and will try to be useful in our common cause - the positive development of bilateral relations between Cyprus and Russia," said Neocleous.
