Senior citizen injured in Limassol hit and run

An elderly male ended up in the Emergency Room, police looking for silver compact-size vehicle


A senior citizen was rushed to the Emergency Room following a hit-and-run incident in Limassol, with police searching for a silver compact-size vehicle.

According to police, an elderly man was struck by a vehicle on Kolonakiou Street in Limassol around 8:00pm on Tuesday evening.

The driver fled the scene without stopping the vehicle, according to witness reports.

The injured man, who was reportedly not in any immediate danger, sustained leg injuries and was scheduled for additional medical tests.

Local police are investigating the case.
