The most fun running event of Cyprus returns for a second year in a row with a virtual edition, which allows us to run for our kids from every part of Cyprus! This year, ALPHAMEGA VIRTUAL RUN AS ONE 2021 will be held between 22 and 31 October 2021.
Registration is now open for all distances, via the event’s website: www.runasone.eu. Through a very simple process, runners can move to the registration platform, choose the distance they like and register for the run of their choice.
ALPHAMEGA VIRTUAL RUN AS ONE 2021 is based on flexibility and is therefore allowing participants to run or walk along their favorite hiking trail, the park of their neighborhood, even on a treadmill at their house or at the gym and elsewhere). Participants will then have to record their time on a smartwatch or running application and share their results with the other participants on the registration platform.
VIRTUAL RUN AS ONE includes the following distances: Individual 21K (Half-Marathon), 5K Corporate Teams Run, 5Κ Individual Run, 10K Individual Run and 1K Fun Run for parents and kids.
This year’s event will not have winners and the focus will be on the purpose of the race which is to support “Child, Nutrition and Health” CSR program of ALPHAMEGA Hypermarkets. All participating runners will receive a medal, while all kids participating in 1K Fun Run will receive a diploma.

ALPHAMEGA RUN AS ONE - Identity
ALPHAMEGA RUN AS ONE is an annual event, part of the “Child, Nutrition & Health” program of ALPHAMEGA Hypermarkets. The aim of the event, which is organized in collaboration with the Cyprus Dietetic & Nutrition Association, is to promote the importance of healthy eating habits and regular exercise starting from childhood.
All net revenues from the race’s participations are offered so that children between 9 and 12 years old can have a personalized nutrition plan based on their individual needs, free of charge.
