Deloitte Cyprus proudly announces the growth of its leadership team with the appointment of two new partners, effective 1 June 2026. Novia Georgiou and Michalis Zinieris have been promoted to Partner in the Audit & Assurance and Technology & Transformation practices, respectively. They both bring significant expertise in their fields, and exemplify the outstanding leadership, integrity, and values that form the foundation of Deloitte.

Novia Georgiou – Audit & Assurance
Novia started her career at Deloitte Cyprus and has been with the firm for over 17 years.Throughout her tenure, she consistently demonstrated strong leadership and commitment to delivering value to both the firm and its clients. She brings extensive experience in audit and assurance, having led various cross-border engagements for multinational groups, as well as audits for a wide spectrum of local clients. Novia has significant expertise in the shipping industry, where she currently leads some of the firm’s largest and most significant audit and assurance engagements, including a substantial portfolio of control assurance engagements.
Novia holds a BSc in Mathematics from the University of Warwick. She is a Qualified Chartered Accountant, a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (ICPAC).
In addition to her client-facing responsibilities, Novia is committed to developing talent, building specialised expertise, and promoting a collaborative and inclusive culture.
Michalis Zinieris – Technology & Transformation
Michalis is the Enterprise Technology & Performance Leader at Deloitte Cyprus, and also responsible for Engineering, AI & Data, as well as Customer offerings. He has over 15 years of technology advisory experience working with FTSE 500 companies, across the UK and Europe where he was based for 10 years, and more recently with some of the largest organisations in Cyprus and the Middle East.
He works closely with C-suite executives to plan and execute digital transformation programmes. Michalis has extensive experience supporting large banking groups and government departments, by providing innovative technology solutions that enable them to gain competitive advantages in the market or meet compliance requirements. He has led multi-disciplinary teams, often located across multiple international locations.
Michalis graduated from Imperial College London with an MEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, and Bayes Business School with an MSc in Investment Management.
Michalis is a person committed to delivering high-quality service, building meaningful relationships, fostering a collaborative culture, and identifying opportunities that add business value.
