EY and Hult International Business School announce new Masters in Business Analytics, free for all EY people

  • Brand new qualification designed to help build skills in data and AI
  • Available free for all EY people, regardless of rank or location

EY, in association with Hult International Business School, today announces a brand new, fully accredited Masters in Business Analytics, available to all 312,000 EY people free of charge and regardless of rank, tenure or location.

The EY Masters in Business Analytics by Hult, the first qualification of its kind, will significantly expand data and artificial intelligence (AI) literacy among EY people and help them translate those skills into new and innovative services for clients around the globe. The new qualification is focused on helping EY people develop the mindset and skillset to navigate new, technology-focused ways of working, with all learning provided entirely online.

The new qualification will be awarded by Hult International Business School, which is renowned for its skill-focused approach to education and commitment to practical learning. Hult is the first triple-accredited business school in the US and regularly ranked as one of the top business schools in the world.

The EY organization continues to attract technology and data professionals, which today exceed 44,000 technologists and 22,000 data professionals across the global organization. The EY Masters in Business Analytics by Hult is being launched alongside a new campaign to bring even more tech talent into the EY organization, focused around a live two-day EY Tech Careers virtual event where prospective recruits can meet EY technologists and senior leaders to discover more about what a career in technology at the EY organization can offer.

The EY Masters in Business Analytics by Hult builds on EY Badges, through which EY people earn digital credentials in future-focused skills by applying their learning in practice. To earn the new Masters, EY people will need to complete 12 Badges spanning data and artificial intelligence (AI), leadership, innovation and technology. Candidates will also need to complete two additional hands-on projects – one focused on a big data AI challenge and a second focused on creating new data-enabled business products or services.

To date, EY people have earned more than 180,000 Badges, a major milestone, with badges covering a wide range of subject areas from AI to robotic process automation, blockchain, diversity and inclusiveness and sustainable business practices.

EY last year announced the first-ever fully accredited virtual corporate Master of Business Administration (MBA) course. The qualification, also a collaboration with Hult International Business School, has been awarded to 25 EY people so far.

Commenting on the new program, Ronald Attard, EY Cyprus Country Managing Partner, said: ''Technology is at the heart of all our services allowing us to address a wide range of challenges that our clients face. The new program will allow our people to harness the very latest technologies, acquire critical data and artificial intelligence skills and integrate ideas that will help them solve tomorrow’s big business problems. Through programs such as this we are supporting our people to grow and progress while ensuring that we provide our clients with the answers to the most complex problems''.
