The visionary leader of Pafilia wins at the prestigious Bank of Cyprus Man of the Year Awards

Pafilia founder and CEO, Mr Elias Eliades has been awarded a prestigious honor at the 21st Bank of Cyprus MAN OF THE YEAR Awards, with the title of Best Manager / Entrepreneur.

The awards are designed to celebrate pioneering men who have all made significant contributions to Cyprus with their achievements. Held by SPPMedia and sponsored by Bank of Cyprus, they are the largest and longest running award institution in Cyprus that, each year, celebrates the achievements of men who had the courage to face obstacles and challenges head on while charting their own unique path. With their work, conviction, vision and ethics, they have helped shaped and influence the economy and opened new opportunities for the people of Cyprus.

The prestigious award winners are chosen by readers of MAN magazine and this year supervised by auditing firm Deloitte. 200 prominent Cypriot personalities from the business, political, visual, journalistic and sports world of Cyprus, also vote on the selection process.

Mr Eliades commented ‘’This is a great honor which could not have been achieved it if were not for the support of my family and colleagues. In 1977 I started Pafilia, and today it has grown into a large international organization operating across the world. This is something I am extremely proud of, and as we grow and evolve we will always hold dear our original values, a family-owned company, founded on close-relationships. Moving forwards will continue to develop communities, using Minthis and ONE as our benchmarks, and continually engage in initiatives that enrich and strengthen the environment’’.

The 2022 awards ceremony was held November 17th at the Parklane Resort and Spa Limassol in the presence of the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Mr. Nikos Anastasiadis.
