Alphamega Hypermarkets has launched a new service that aims to improve its customers' shopping experience. The new Click & Collect service allows customers to collect their orders from the company's e-store for free, instead of using the home delivery service. The service provides customers with maximum convenience and speed, as they can choose when to collect their groceries.
To use the service, customers simply add the items they want to buy to their cart on the Alphamega Hypermarkets e-store and select the Click & Collect option, booking their preferred collection slot. They can then collect their groceries from self-service lockers located in the pick-up area, using an access code that was sent to them after placing their order.
The lockers are designed with three different temperatures, allowing products to remain fresh and unaffected by weather conditions. They include lockers for frozen products, refrigerated goods, and products kept at room temperature.
The Click & Collect service is available at Alphamega Hypermarkets' Akropolis and Polemidia stores, with plans to expand to three more stores across Cyprus by the end of the year. The company's long-term goal is to gradually bring the service to an even larger number of stores. Currently, the service offers two collection slots and extended timeframes to help customers get used to the service, with plans to increase the number of collection slots in the future.
Alphamega Hypermarkets' Chief Information Officer, Andreas Demertiou, stated that the company's goal is to offer customers a pleasant and improved shopping experience that caters to the ever-changing needs of the modern consumer. The Click & Collect service is fully in line with this philosophy, saving customers time and making the shopping experience more enjoyable and tailored to their needs. The company worked tirelessly over the past few months to design and implement the service and is confident that it will be embraced by the general public.
