The Bank of Cyprus has received several distinctions in Extel’s annual survey of management teams of listed companies in the EMEA region, with the group's executive director of financial management, Eliza Livadiotou, securing first place in the Best CFO category based on votes from sell-side analysts.

Livadiotou was ranked first in the small- and mid-cap category of the EMEA financial sector, while she placed second in the combined evaluation. At the same time, Bank of Cyprus ranked third in the Emerging EMEA Financials category and was included among this year’s “Most Honored Companies.”

The group's investor relations team also received recognition. Annita Pavlou took second place in the Best IR Professional category (combined vote), while Bank of Cyprus’ Investor Relations Department was also ranked second in the Best IR Team category.

Extel’s survey is based on evaluations by fund managers and analysts covering listed companies internationally. For 2026, the survey included 454 portfolio managers and analysts from 247 financial institutions.

Livadiotou’s distinction among sell-side analysts is considered particularly important, as these professionals closely monitor banks’ performance, evaluate their financial results, and maintain ongoing communication with their management teams.

Livadiotou has been a member of the Bank of Cyprus’ management team for many years and played an active role during the group's restructuring period, which included a significant reduction in non-performing loans, strengthening its capital position, and returning the group to stable profitability and dividend payments.

In a LinkedIn post, Livadiotou described her first-place ranking in the sell-side analysts’ vote and second place in Extel’s combined ranking as a great honor. She also expressed her satisfaction with the overall recognition received by Bank of Cyprus.

She thanked the investment community for its trust, noting that the distinctions are the result of the team’s collective effort.
