Press Release
Cyprus Airways is pleased to announce the resumption of its flights between Larnaca and Dubai starting 1st of May, restoring an important connection between Cyprus and one of the world’s most vibrant and popular destinations. Flights will initially operate three times per week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, as part of the current summer schedule.
Dubai remains a favourite destination for travellers from Cyprus, both for business and leisure, offering a unique combination of modern architecture, world-class shopping, exceptional dining, and unforgettable experiences. The decision to resume scheduled operations follows a careful assessment of the current situation in the region.
The safety and well-being of passengers and crew remain Cyprus Airways’ highest priority. The airline continues to closely monitor developments while working in coordination with the relevant authorities to ensure safe and reliable operations.
Cyprus Airways has also demonstrated its commitment to supporting passengers during challenging periods. During the winter, when the situation in the region was more complex, the airline operated repatriation flights from Dubai, helping travellers safely return home amid limited travel options. More recently, additional repatriation flights were carried out to assist passengers affected by temporary disruptions.
“We are pleased to restore our service to Dubai and reconnect Cyprus with this important destination,” said Mr Thanos Pascalis, CEO of Cyprus Airways.
Passengers can now book their flights through the Cyprus Airways website and travel agents. For more information and bookings, travellers can visit: www.cyprusairways.com
