New business partnerships and joint ventures between Cyprus and Greece are in the pipeline across a broad range of economic sectors.

Invest Cyprus is meeting today with Greek Deputy Foreign Minister Haris Theocharis, who is on a two-day visit to Cyprus focused on economic diplomacy, investment, and closer ties between the two countries’ business communities.
The talks will examine ways to further develop bilateral economic and trade relations, attract investment, and make use of new opportunities for cooperation.
Theocharis will conclude the day by attending an event organized by the Association of Greek Professionals in Cyprus, focusing on Greek entrepreneurship.
His meetings aim to identify new areas of cooperation, help Greek businesses expand internationally, and create more investment and trade opportunities. With their strong historical and political ties, Greece and Cyprus have the potential to make greater use of their shared advantages by working together in today’s international economic environment.
Meanwhile, Invest Cyprus and Enterprise Greece recently renewed their memorandum of cooperation, reaffirming the strong level of economic relations between the two countries and their shared commitment to deeper cooperation in investment, entrepreneurship, and international business development.
The renewed memorandum creates an updated framework for exchanging information and expertise. It is intended to bring the two countries’ business and investment ecosystems closer together and support joint initiatives promoting Greece and Cyprus as attractive destinations for companies and investors.
Particular emphasis is being placed on areas of shared strategic interest, including energy, shipping, tourism, technology, innovation, education, research, and health.
The agreement also covers the exchange of business and investment missions, the joint organization of events, and stronger networking between companies and institutional bodies.
The renewed partnership between Enterprise Greece and Invest Cyprus reflects the close strategic relationship between the two countries and highlights the potential for even stronger economic and investment cooperation for their mutual benefit.
