During her visit, Metsola will accompany President Christodoulidis to the port of Larnaca on April 2nd, where they will observe ongoing works related to the "Amalthia" project. The tour will include a visit to the Search and Rescue Coordination Center (SRC), where Metsola and President Christodoulidis will receive a briefing and make statements to the media around noon.

The visit underscores the European Union's active interest in Cyprus' humanitarian efforts, which have garnered international recognition and support. The ongoing collaboration seeks to enhance the flow of humanitarian aid to Gaza's civilian population.
