EY Cyprus welcomes two new partners to power growth

EY Cyprus is pleased to announce that its leadership team has been strengthened with the addition of two new partners. Andri Hadjikkou

Andri holds a BA in Accounting & Management from the University of Essex (UK) and is a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) and member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (ICAEW). She is also a Certified Public Accountant and Registered Auditor of the The Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (ICPAC) for which she served in various Committees for a number of years and is currently a member of the Energy Committee.

During her academic and professional studies, she was awarded various international prizes. Andri started her career in September 2001 in PWC and joined EY Cyprus in September 2023 as an Assurance Partner. Her experience includes offering assurance services to local and international clients and multinational groups across several industries including Education, Technology, Manufacturing, Oil and Gas and Healthcare. She has deep knowledge of International Standards on Auditing (ISAs), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRSs) and Cyprus Company Law requirements.

Avgoustinos Hadjirousos

Avgoustinos joined the Assurance practice of EY Cyprus in 2005 and has over 18 years of experience in providing audit and assurance services to both local and multinational clients, including companies listed on local and foreign stock exchanges. He has served clients in a wide range of sectors, including companies operating in the Consumer Products, Mining & Metals, Real Estate & Construction, Pharmaceutical products, Oil & Gas, Shipping, and Technology industries.

Avgoustinos holds a university BSc degree in Management from the London School of Economics (UK) and is a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) and member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (ICAEW). He is also a Certified Public Accountant and Registered Auditor of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (ICPAC), and since 2023 Avgoustinos is serving as the chairman of the Audit & Assurance Committee of ICPAC. Commenting on the promotion of the new partners, Ronald Attard, Country Managing Partner of EY Cyprus, stated: “We are delighted that our organization's leadership team is being strengthened with new talents, driven by our commitment to strengthening diversity and inclusion in our organization.

Andri, with her knowledge of assurance services and her understanding of international auditing and financial reporting standards, combined with her long experience as well as her leadership skills, will contribute significantly to our company's goals and expand our range of services. Avgoustinos brings equally valuable skills and experience to our leadership team, that will contribute to the growth objectives of EY Cyprus.
