In the framework of the implementation of the new eProcurement system

KPMG in Cyprus will act as a technical service consultant, following participation in a public tender, for the provision of support to the Treasury of the Republic of Cyprus, in the framework of the implementation of the new eProcurement system.

KPMG in Cyprus will support the Treasury of the Republic of Cyprus in selecting an appropriate solution for the development and implementation of the new eProcurement system, which will allow Cyprus to approach and redesign the life cycle of public procurement, through the adoption of new and emerging technologies. At the same time, the aim is to strengthen the participation of small and medium enterprises by removing administrative barriers, thus enhancing the transparency and availability of useful data to the general public.

Antonis Bargilly, Board Member, Head of Management Consulting, KPMG in Cyprus, stated: ''We are pleased with our cooperation with the Treasury of the Republic, as we will contribute to the effort of developing the new eProcurement system, which is an important and necessary part of the Government's overall digital transformation effort and a vital project in the timely processing of public contracts in Cyprus. KPMG in Cyprus will provide once again high quality services, contributing in this way to the implementation of an important project aimed at the development of the public sector''.
