After operating in Cyprus for four years, the Terkenlis confectionery chain has made the decision to close its doors. Over the past two weeks, the company has ceased operations and deactivated its social media presence.
The specific reasons behind this closure are unknown, leaving uncertainty regarding the company's future actions within the Cypriot market.
It is worth noting that the Terkenlis confectionery chain entered the Cypriot market in November 2019, establishing its first store on 28th of October Avenue in Engomi, directly across from the Mall of Engomi.
During its presence in Cyprus, the company had initial plans to expand and open four additional stores in other cities as well.
Terkenlis Confectioneries, which originated in Thessaloniki 74 years ago, expanded to Athens and ventured into international markets outside of Greece in 2019.
