The Wiz Guide is bringing together the top Cypriot wineries and this year’s vintage selections at the 50 Best Restaurants in Cyprus awards ceremony, set to take place on January 28 at the Hilton Hotel in Nicosia.
After the awards ceremony, guests will have the chance to explore and taste the showcased wines during the traditional cocktail reception, held in honor of the winners. The evening promises a glittering atmosphere, with distinguished guests and officials in attendance.
The event will feature booths branded by participating wineries, transforming the Hilton's hall into a wine lover’s paradise. Guests will also enjoy a gastronomic buffet, offering tasting trails from across Cyprus, perfectly paired with the finest local wines.
The Wiz Guide envisions the Wine Fair as the ultimate meeting point for Cyprus’ best restaurants and wineries, fostering collaboration and mutual support. Together, they aim to enhance the quality of Cypriot gastronomy. Drawing on international trends and Cyprus’ new tourism strategy, the event emphasizes that exceptional gastronomy thrives on local terroir—the distinctive flavors and aromas of Cypriot soil.
Given the limited space available, wineries will be selected based on quality and geographical diversity to ensure a well-rounded representation.
