A 30-year-old Nigerian woman was found dead in her Limassol apartment this morning, Monday, in what police are treating as a premeditated murder.
Authorities received a report around 10:30 a.m. about a body inside the building. When officers arrived, they discovered Victory Osarumen Thompson with injuries to multiple parts of her body. Medical examiners Angeliki Papetta and Orthodox Orthodoxou were called to the scene for an initial assessment. A full autopsy is scheduled for Friday morning.
As part of the investigation, police arrested three women, aged 24, 35, and another adult, all reportedly from the same community as the victim. They remain in custody while officers review their statements and collect additional evidence.
The Limassol Police Department said the probe is ongoing and warned that further details would be released once confirmed.
Residents of the area expressed shock at the incident, with many noting that violent crimes are rare in the neighborhood. Investigators have urged anyone with information about the case to come forward.
