The Forestry Department, under the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development, and the Environment, joyfully announces the availability of Christmas trees for sale to the public! Starting from Monday, November 27, until Friday, December 17, you can bring the holiday spirit home by purchasing your Christmas tree at various enchanting sales centers across Cyprus.

Sales are open Monday to Friday, spreading cheer from 08:00 to 14:30.
A Merry Note: These festive trees come from the thinning of forest plantations, part of our efforts to enhance growth conditions and reduce competition in our woodlands.
Remember: Without a proper permit from the Forestry Department, cutting, possessing, or transporting Christmas trees is a no-go! According to the "Forestry Law of 2012," violating this could lead to a fine of up to €5,000, imprisonment for up to one year, or both.
Attention Private Tree Owners: Ensure a hassle-free festive season by obtaining felling and transport permits in advance. Present them upon request by our spirited Forestry Department officials. And before you hit the road with your tree, seal the deal by confirming the stamp of approval at the bottom-cross section from your nearest forestry station.
