In a formal ceremony on Wednesday, the American University of Beirut's Mediterranean campus, AUB - Mediterraneo, was officially inaugurated at the Paphos Innovation Centre. The event saw the presence of key figures, including the Ministers of Education from Cyprus and Lebanon, the U.S. Ambassador to Cyprus, Trustees of the American University of Beirut, and municipal leaders.
Minister of Education Athena Michaelidou hailed the establishment of AUB-Mediterraneo as a significant step toward educational excellence. She emphasized its potential to empower students in advancing knowledge and understanding.
Minister Michaelidou also noted the remarkable progress in Cyprus' higher education sector and its role in economic development.
