The Bank of Cyprus Cultural Foundation and bαhçές histories* of Cyprus, continuing their parallel activities in the context of the Cyprus Insula exhibition, invite you to the second interactive workshop for families on Sunday, 27 April 2025.
Inspired by the award-winning Melita’s Kouta installation ‘Spectators in a Ghost City,’ hosted in the Cyprus Insula exhibition, Act III, this workshop invites participants to reflect on what “home” means to them.
Through a series of hands-on activities, we will think about how our surroundings, connections with others, and memories contribute to our sense of place and belonging, and whether it is possible to carry our home with us. In the final part of the workshop, children and their parents/guardians will work together to create their own three-dimensional representations of the meaning of “home” to them.
The workshop will be conducted in Greek with the option of simultaneous translation into English if needed.
