Clouds are on vacation and heat is on duty: Expect clear skies and spicy temps today

Light breezes, playful clouds, and temperatures that refuse to chill.

Newsroom

Happy Monday, weather warriors!

Put away those umbrellas and grab your sunglasses (and maybe a fan), because Mother Nature is in a mostly good mood today. Here’s what she’s serving up:

Today:
The skies will be mostly clear, but don’t be surprised if a few fluffy clouds sneak in, mainly over the mountains and the northeast, where they love to hang out. Winds will start off chill at 3 Beaufort (a polite breeze), then pick up some sass by afternoon, hitting 4–5 Beaufort in the southeast. Expect smooth sailing, in the sea; just a tad bumpy in places.
Temperatures will sizzle. 37°C inland (aka frying pan mode), 31°C on the west and southwest coasts, 33°C on the rest, and a breezy 27°C up in the mountains. Mountain folks, enjoy your cool life!

Tonight:
The skies stay mostly clear, with a few shy clouds making an appearance in the west and north. Winds will calm down, barely whispering at 3 Beaufort, and the sea will keep its chill vibe. Temperatures drop to a comfy 22°C inland, 23°C on the coasts, and a snuggly 18°C in the mountains.

Tuesday to Thursday:
Expect the same sunny vibes, with some midday mountain clouds trying to photobomb your hikes. Temperatures will creep up slightly through Wednesday (just enough to remind you it's still summer), then hold steady on Thursday. Still a bit hotter than usual for this time of year.

Translation?
Summer isn’t done with us yet. Stay hydrated, wear your SPF, and maybe keep an ice cream handy. You’ll need it!
