Good morning, Cyprus! Here’s your weather rundown for today:
Expect a partly cloudy day ahead. Winds will be blowing from the southwest to northwest at a moderate 4 Beaufort, and by the afternoon, they might crank up to 5 Beaufort in wind-prone areas. The sea will be a little choppy, especially in the west and north where it’ll get rougher as the day goes on.
Temperature-wise, we’re looking at a comfortable 20°C for the inland areas and the coast, while the higher mountains will chill out at around 10°C.
As for tonight, the skies will mostly clear up, though we’ll see some patchy clouds here and there. Winds will shift to northwest-northerly, generally light to moderate at 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea will remain a bit unsettled — slightly choppy in the east, rougher in the south and north, and gradually turning rough in the west.
Things will cool down with temperatures dropping to around 7°C inland, 10°C along the coast, and a brisk 4°C in the highest mountains, where frost might even make an appearance.
Looking ahead to Friday and the weekend, we’ll have mostly sunny skies, but don’t be surprised if a few extra clouds pop up here and there. On Friday, we might even get a few isolated showers, particularly in the mountains.
Temperatures are set to gradually drop, dipping slightly below the average for this time of year.
Stay warm and enjoy the mix of sun and clouds!
