Two people were arrested on suspicions of theft at the Cyprus casino C2, following a complaint by a 64-year-old Limassol resident who reported his wallet with €10,000 cash missing.

Police were notified around 10pm Monday night and carried out an investigation into the missing wallet. Knews understands that following an assessment by investigators, police were also given information on two suspects and quickly secured warrants for their arrest.

The suspects, a man and a woman both aged 34, were placed under arrest Tuesday morning.

The female suspect pointed police investigators to the location of the wallet. Then they searched the suspects’ residence and confiscated what they believed to be part of the stolen amount.
