A Nicosia hairdresser who had tested positive for coronavirus broke quarantine and continued working, it emerged on Tuesday.

Kathimerini Cyprus reported that the 54-year-old owner of a hairdressing salon tested positive for the virus on Saturday, but instead of staying put in isolation returned to work as normal and served clients.
The case was reported to the police, members of which paid a visit to the salon, finding five people including the owner, who was reported and instructed to isolate at home.
The 54-year-old is set to face court once all evidence against him is collected.
