According to an announcement issued by the Municipality, the Meteorological Service has warned that from the evening of Tuesday, December 9, until 5 a.m. on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, the weather is expected to worsen rapidly, bringing phenomena that may affect the road network and local infrastructure.
Residents and visitors across all municipal districts are urged to remain vigilant. The Municipality advises limiting unnecessary travel and taking all necessary self-protection measures, particularly in areas prone to water accumulation or reduced visibility.
The announcement emphasizes that the Municipality of Paralimni-Deryneia remains in full operational readiness. Municipal services are on continuous alert and prepared to respond immediately to any incidents requiring intervention or public assistance.
