Nicosia will host the 2nd International Defence and Security Conference, “BATTLEFIELD ReDEFiNED 2024,” on December 12-13 at the Pavilion Hall. Organized by the Cyprus Association of Research and Innovation Enterprises (CARIE) in partnership with C.D Multimedia Services and key players in the local defence sector, the event promises to be the largest of its kind in Cyprus.
The conference will explore cutting-edge topics, including artificial intelligence (AI), unmanned aerial and ground vehicles (UAVs and UGVs), cybersecurity, missile systems, electronic warfare, satellite technologies, and more. Experts will discuss how these innovations address challenges in today’s rapidly changing geopolitical environment.
More than 20 companies and organizations from Cyprus and abroad will showcase a wide range of defence systems, with several making their debut in Cyprus. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with the latest developments in multi-domain operations, network-centric technologies, surveillance systems, and simulators.
The event is open to public and private sector decision-makers, defence companies, researchers, military personnel, academics, and students, offering a platform to explore the future of defence and security.
The conference is supported by the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCC), the Ministry of Defence, the Research and Innovation Foundation, and the Association of Defence Equipment Manufacturers of Greece.
