A low-pressure system is affecting the area with some clear weather and inland highs in the upper 30’s and chances of showers and isolated thunderstorms in the afternoon.
Monday skies are expected to be mostly clear with increasing clouds over local areas expected to bring rain showers and possibly isolated thunderstorms inland and in the mountains.
Maximum highs are expected to reach 38° degrees Celsius inland, around 30 on the western coast, around 33 in all other coastal regions, while it will be 29 up in the mountains.
Evening weather is expected to be mostly clear with chances of low clouds and possibly light fog. Minimum lows will be 21 degrees in the interior, around 22 along the coast, while it will be 16 up in the mountains.
Tuesday and Wednesday weather is expected to be mostly clear while clouds, along with increasing clouds at noon and in the afternoon, are also in the forecast with chances of local showers and possibly isolated thunderstorms inland and in the mountains.
Similar rain chances are in Thursday’s forecast but mainly in the mountains, while temperatures are expected to remain above normal averages for this time of the year.
