In a recent enforcement drive spearheaded by the Nicosia Police Directorate on Tuesday, authorities announced the execution of 209 fine warrants, resulting in the collection of €101,582.56. This initiative marks a significant effort by law enforcement to enforce outstanding fines across various categories of offenses.
Since the beginning of this year, the Nicosia Police Directorate has executed a total of 8,328 fine warrants, amounting to €1,962,164.97 collected. These warrants encompass a wide range of debts, including fines related to traffic violations, criminal offenses, social security obligations, municipal fees, alimony payments, and private criminal cases.
The campaign underscores the police department's commitment to addressing outstanding debts within the community, ensuring compliance with legal obligations and upholding public safety standards across Nicosia.
