Nina Schick, a leading voice on sovereign AI, joins Digital Agenda Cyprus Summit 2026

The sovereign AI strategist has advised NATO, briefed Joe Biden and worked with the U.S. Army, UN and Mastercard.

Press Release

She has advised the NATO secretary-general, briefed former U.S. President Joe Biden and worked with the U.S. Army, the United Nations and Mastercard on issues involving sovereignty, security and the strategic power of artificial intelligence.

Now, internationally recognized sovereign AI strategist Nina Schick is coming to the Digital Agenda Cyprus Summit 2026 to examine the new global struggle for power unfolding around AI.

The summit will welcome one of the most influential voices in the international debate on artificial intelligence and geopolitics. Schick specializes in artificial general intelligence, or AGI, and geopolitics and is the founder of Tamang Ventures and Industrial Intelligence.

At the heart of her work is one of the most urgent questions of our time: Who will control the next generation of artificial intelligence, and what will that mean for the global balance of power?

Her appearance strengthens the international profile of this year’s Digital Agenda Cyprus Summit, which will focus on the growing battle for technological and geopolitical dominance.

Under the theme “AI Wars — Challenging the Balance of Power: Life, Work, Country, Region,” the 2026 summit will explore a rapidly changing world in which AI is no longer simply a technological revolution. It is becoming a central source of economic, political and geostrategic power.

Governments and technology giants are investing billions in the race to gain an advantage in AI. But the battle is no longer only about who develops the most advanced technology. It is about who will have the power to shape the future.

From jobs, the economy and innovation to national security and the sovereignty of states, the new power structures being created by AI are expected to define the next decade.

At the Digital Agenda Cyprus Summit 2026, Schick will explain what is truly at stake in the emerging “AI wars” — and who is likely to write the rules of this new era.

The Digital Agenda Cyprus Summit 2026 will take place on Oct. 14 at Nicosia Municipal Theatre.

Early-bird tickets are now available at www.agenda.cy.

More prominent speakers will be announced soon.

The Digital Agenda Cyprus Summit 2026 is presented by Bank of Cyprus and Cyta and held under the auspices of the Cyprus Presidency and the Municipality of Nicosia.

The event is organized by Kathimerini, V+O and SppMedia Events.
