A tragic incident occurred on Monday night (15/05) aboard Cyprus Airways Flight 312, which was en route from Larnaca to Athens. Regrettably, a 57-year-old passenger on the flight passed away.
Reports indicate that the passenger became unconscious shortly after take-off, prompting the captain to make the decision to return the aircraft to Larnaca airport.
Upon landing, emergency services, including an awaiting ambulance and paramedics, swiftly provided first aid to the passenger. Despite their efforts, unfortunately, the outcome was not favorable.
In light of the situation, the remaining passengers were accommodated in a hotel for the night and have since resumed their journey to Athens this morning.
