On the occasion of World Environment Day, Petrolina contributed to a series of beach clean-up activities held on Thursday, 5 June 2025, in Ayia Napa, Protaras, Larnaka and Limassol, reaffirming its long-standing commitment to environmental sustainability. The campaigns were organized under the Keep Our Sand and Sea Plastic Free initiative - an effort led by the TUI Care Foundation in collaboration with the Cyprus Sustainable Tourism Initiative (CSTI).
Demonstrating its dedication to corporate environmental responsibility, the Petrolina Energy Team, comprised of volunteers from Petrolina, participated in the beach cleaning campaign in Larnaka, supporting the collective effort towards a cleaner, more sustainable environment.
The Larnaka campaign was carried out in partnership with Lordos Hotels and Golden Bay Beach Hotel and was further supported by the Cyprus Environment Foundation (CEF), showcasing the power of cross-sector collaboration between private companies, local communities, and environmental organizations.
This initiative not only reflects Petrolina’s active role in promoting environmental responsibility but also aligns with its broader efforts to safeguard our marine ecosystems and raise environmental awareness in the tourism sector and society.
