Authorities have identified the second victim found charred inside a burning car in the Limassol district on July 31. The victim has been confirmed as 38-year-old David Chmelar, a Slovakian national.

The two charred bodies were discovered after police received a tip-off about a burning vehicle on a side road off the Parekklisia-Kellaki main road. A necropsy revealed that both victims died from gunshot wounds to the head before the car was set ablaze.

Two suspects, aged 19 and 23, are currently in custody under an eight-day detention order as the Limassol CID continues its investigation into the case.
