A local person, who asked to be tested for the coronavirus in Limassol after a trip to northern Italy, remains in hospital with mild symptoms waiting for results, while another couple has been released.

According to the Cyprus News Agency, three individuals visited Limassol General Hospital on Thursday in order to get tested for the CoVid-19.
State radio on Friday said lab test results in the suspected case were expected later in the day after a meeting among officials
The individuals, including a couple who recently traveled to Rome, decided to go to the hospital in order to get tested, while two were said to have been released.
A third person from Thursday’s hospital visit, who traveled recently to Milan, was said to be exhibiting mild symptoms of the coronavirus according to online Reporter.
State radio RIK on Friday morning said CoVid-19 lab test results in the suspected third case were expected later in the day after a meeting between health officials.
Two other women remain quarantined in Cyprus as high risk travelers after being in contact with confirmed cases, one at a conference in Italy and the other on a chartered evacuation flight to Israel that later landed in Cyprus.
There has been no confirmed case of the novel coronavirus in the Republic of Cyprus.
