According to the Associated Press, Russian President Vladimir Putin is self-isolating after several members of his entourage were found to be positive for the coronavirus.
The Kremlin announced that Mr. Putin was in good health and did not contract the virus.
Consequently, Mr. Putin's scheduled trip to Tajikistan this week has been cancelled and his meetings on security issues will be held via video conference.
Over the last 24 hours, Mr. Putin had previously attended military exercises and met with athletes who participated in the Paralympic Games, as well as with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.
