A 76-year-old man’s property in Ormideia was targeted in a shooting in the early hours of Wednesday, with seven shots damaging the front of his home and his vehicle.
The incident took place at around 3am on November 4, according to police. However, authorities were not notified until approximately 8am, when officers were dispatched to the property to examine the scene.
Police collected several pieces of evidence, which will undergo scientific testing as investigators work to establish the circumstances surrounding the attack.
The Famagusta Criminal Investigation Department is handling the case.
