The fashion world is buzzing as Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway reunite in the first teaser for The Devil Wears Prada 2, set to hit theaters in May 2026. Fans of the 2006 hit can finally see Miranda Priestly and her former assistant Andy Sachs back in action, this time navigating a fashion industry in flux.

Streep returns as the icy, tyrannical magazine editor Miranda Priestly, while Hathaway reprises her role as Andy, now a high-powered luxury brand head. Joining them are Emily Blunt, Stanley Tucci, and newcomers including Kenneth Branagh as Priestly’s new husband, plus Simone Ashley, Rachel Bloom, Lucy Liu, and reported cameos from Lady Gaga and Sydney Sweeney.

Directed again by David Frankel, the sequel explores a shaken magazine world where Priestly must team up with Andy to survive and thrive amid collapsing print media and high-stakes advertising deals. The original comedy earned more than $326 million worldwide and later inspired a West End musical.

Filming has taken place from Brooklyn to Milan, drawing crowds and photographers eager for glimpses of the star-studded cast. For Hathaway, the sequel is just one of several blockbuster projects this year, including roles alongside Michaela Coel, Dakota Johnson, Ewan McGregor, Tom Holland, and Zendaya.

The Devil Wears Prada 2 will join a crowded summer of sequels, including Toy Story 5, Minions 3, Scary Movie 6, and Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Fashion fans, mark your calendars; the drama, glitz, and icy glares of Miranda Priestly are back.
