A three-year-old girl is recovering at Makarios Hospital after falling from the third floor of a building in Limassol, police said Wednesday.
The incident happened Tuesday morning while the child and her nine-year-old sibling were under the care of their 19-year-old sister, authorities said.
Police said the girl fell from a height of about 7.8 meters (25 feet) under circumstances that remain under investigation.
She suffered a lung contusion and a head injury. Doctors said her condition is stable and she is out of danger.
