The tougher measures to come into effect on Friday will effect schools and after-school tutoring businesses.

According to the cabinet decisions, high schools, technical schools, and universities will be switching to remote learning methods from Monday and until schools close for the Christmas holidays.

The suspension of physical classes was accompanied by an extension to the suspension of after-school activities for minors until the end of the month.

Meanwhile, the cabinet’s most recent decisions will also see private after-school tutoring businesses of all levels close their doors and switch to remote classes.

Private tutoring lessons involving no more than two people including the tutor are permitted.
