Good morning! It's Tuesday, and the weather forecast is giving us major "relax, everything is fine" energy, courtesy of a high pressure system affecting the region. It's the kind of stability we need to make it through the week... until things get dusty.
The forecast: It's generally mostly clear, the kind of beautiful morning that makes the commute slightly less soul-crushing. However, temporary increased cloudiness will occur mainly in the mountains and the northern areas. The clouds are clearly judging the rest of the island for being too sunny. Winds are weak to moderate (3–4 Beaufort), but watch out! They will be occasionally strong at 4–5 Beaufort. The sea is generally slightly rough, but it's getting rough in the eastern areas. Someone spilled their coffee on the East Coast and the water is taking it personally.
The heat check: Still lovely! Temperatures will max out around 25°C inland and on the coasts, and a cool 14°C in the higher mountains. (For context, the seasonal average max for this time of year is usually around 22°C-24°C on the coast, so we're still running hot!)
Tonight's plan: The weather will be mostly clear. Winds are light and gentle (3–4 Beaufort), and the sea is generally slightly rough. A peaceful evening...
Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday: The main feature of the rest of the week is generally mostly clear skies, coupled with a special delivery from the desert. From tomorrow, sparse dust will occasionally be observed in the atmosphere.
Temperature trend: The high pressure is working overtime! Temperatures will gradually rise and remain above average climatic values.
Enjoy the clear air today, because tomorrow you might need to wash your car (and your lungs). But hey, at least it's going to be a beautifully warm and bright week!
