Bank of Cyprus becomes the first bank in Cyprus to offer customers the ability to apply for a mortgage directly from their mobile phone or computer, enjoying a streamlined experience and receiving a response within 24 hours.
With the new service, customers can:
Submit their application easily and quickly online via Internet Banking or the BoC Mobile App, from the comfort of their home, without visiting a branch.
Receive alternative options tailored to their financial profile.
Choose their preferred interest rate (fixed or variable) and mortgage plan from the bank’s wide range of products.
Upload all necessary documents electronically for application review, eliminating the need for branch visits.
Get a response within 24 hours and receive real-time updates on the status of their application.

Through the new Online Mortgage service, we give them the opportunity to take this step with ease, leveraging technology for a fast, simple, and transparent process,” said Theodosis Theodosiou, Director of Retail Banking at Bank of Cyprus.
Simpler Than Ever: A New Mortgage Experience
The mortgage application process has been designed to be clear, fast, and user-friendly, accessible via Internet Banking or the BoC Mobile App.
During the application, customers will provide:
Basic property information (primary residence, vacation home, eco-friendly home) and loan details (amount, term).
Personal and financial details of the applicant(s), including co-applicants such as spouses or partners.
Proof of income and collateral.
