The EU's Recovery and Resilience Plan is charging ahead, with the Department of Energy, Trade, and Industry (DTI) launching a call for applications under the 'Grant Scheme for the Energy Upgrading and Competitiveness of Large Enterprises'. This initiative, backed by a total of €17 million, aims to bolster energy efficiency efforts among Cyprus's major corporations.
Under this scheme, Large Enterprises stand to receive grants of up to €750,000 each, enabling them to implement energy-saving measures in their operations. Applications will open on April 26th, 2024, and will be accepted exclusively through the DTI's online Grant Scheme system until June 28th, 2024.
It's important to note that certain sectors, such as fisheries and aquaculture, are excluded from eligibility. Additionally, firms facing financial difficulties are not eligible for assistance under this scheme. Interested parties can find more information and application details on the Department of Industry and Technology's website or by contacting their team directly.
