€6M fund available for innovators to tackle real-world challenges

Boost Cyprus' economy and quality of life by applying now for the ''Co-Develop'' program

Newsroom

The Research and Innovation Foundation (RIF) has announced a new funding program called "Co-Develop" with a total budget of €6 million. This program aims to solve real-world problems by connecting researchers with businesses in areas such as digital technologies, advanced agriculture, health, and the environment.

The main goal of "Co-Develop" is to use existing knowledge to boost the economy and improve the quality of life in Cyprus. The program will fund collaborative projects that develop new technological solutions. Each project can receive up to €600,000.

Projects must be carried out by teams that include at least one business and one research organization from Cyprus. Funded organizations will also have access to free support services and tools provided by the Foundation’s Central Knowledge Transfer Office.

The funding for this program comes from the Cohesion Policy Programme "THALIA 2021-2027" and the European Regional Development Fund. Proposals must be submitted through the Foundation’s IRIS platform by November 22 at 1:00 PM.

For more information, interested parties can contact the Foundation's Partner Service Centre at 22205000 or by email at support@research.org.cy.
